The Janus Queer Games are the all-gender multisport & cultural event in Cologne, organized by the queer sports club SC Janus e. V.
This year’s event is aimed at all sports enthusiasts in the disciplines of volleyball, badminton, martial arts, running, soccer and athletics.

2023 marked the start of the first Janus Queer Games – and it was a huge success! With over 700 participants in 5 disciplines, national and international guests, a party and a farewell brunch, the weekend was a fantastic start.
In addition to volleyball, badminton, martial arts, running and soccer, we are also offering athletics this year. We are expecting over 850 guests from all over Europe.

Volunteering is one of the main pillars of the Janus Queer Games, making our all-gender multisport & cultural event a success. Dozens of volunteers do their part to make this festival an unforgettable experience. Perhaps you would also like to become part of our team?
Many of our volunteers have been passionate about SC Janus for years, which has created a family-like bond. As a thank you for your commitment, you will receive a goodie from us as well as catering during your service. A lot of fun and a warm invitation to a thank-you party for our volunteers round off the whole thing.
We can use your support in many different areas. Be it with accreditation for the opening, catering for our athletes during the competition day, packing goodie bags in the run-up to the event or setting up and dismantling the sports equipment. There are a few other small tasks for which we need you.
